First deputy of the nationalist SNS party, Andrej Danko, made a call today on behalf of the party for interior minister Daniel Lipsic to recall police chief Jaroslav Spisiak from the post.
Danko claimed that Spisiak’s reform of the police force was a complete flop and that major cases were not being resolved. He mentioned the murder of renowned lawyer Ernest Valko and the messy failed drugs operation in Turkey as two cases in point.
Danko even criticised the police for not detaining immediately the head of the Slovak Deaflympics Committee, Jaroslav Ruda, instead of waiting till he tried to flee the country.
