The mystery surrounding the company Gazprom s.r.o. is starting to unravel as the daily Hospodarske noviny revealed that one of the new Board of Directors members of the company Marica Limited is 25-year-old student, Peter Zifcak from Gelnica (Kosice region). He is one of the three Slovaks who replaced the former Maltese members of the Board of Directors in the company. Marica Limited set up Gazprom, s.r.o with another company Priemyselny park Partizanske.
As was reported in The Daily, Gazprom, s.r.o. was set up last week with a share capital of EUR 500 million and is currently under investigation by the police and the tax authorities, because of such a high share capital.
When looking for Zifcak, the daily only found his grandmother at his registered address, a Mrs.Rusnakova. She told the journalists that her son was studying international relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava and was shocked about her grandson’s business activities.
